Just the other day, I was complimented ... "You're cute!" she said. "And you're not!" I thought to myself. Was that mean of me to think? She was nice ... BUT strobe-light honey!!! Immediately it popped into my head .. true beauty is on the inside ... that's probably why I just don't see it! I know ... I'm a dick!

Blockbusters ... or NOT

Another wonderful weekend of Blockbuster rentals ...

1. Assult on Precinct 13 - A solid 5 1/2 ... would of had a better rating if watched on HBO.
2. Undead - so far, a 5 ... I fell asleep in the middle ... but it was also 12:30 Sunday night.
3. Blood of Beasts - A terrible 0 .. don't be deceived by the attractive cover ... a scam!
4. Batman Returns - 10 all over again! Just as good as when seen in the theatre ... even if you don't have HD!
5. The Bridge of San Luis Rey - 7 1/2 ... an overall good movie but slow at the start and slow in the middle and come to think of it ... slow at the end.
6. Motorcylce Diaries - NO RATING ... subtitles to read = watch later!!

To supplement my current income, I purchased a powerball ticket. And just in case that feel through, I got another J-O-B. I'm now a proud member of The Attic Bar and Bistro. My sole responsibility is to make sure that those under age alkies don't make it through the door during a 5 hour period. Later that evening ... Mr. X (a co-worker) and I had a cigarette by my truck after work. Little did I know he was waiting for a ride. Surprisingly, it was another co-worker picking him up (that would be a she). Just friends my arse ... she didn't put on all that make-up (or thong) just to take you home ... or did she?! Did she mention she was engaged ... or did you just think that it was a pretty ring on her finger ... that would be the one on the left ring finger! I thought it was shinny too! Play on play-ya!!

Costume 2005

It was suggested that I should be Pai Mei for Halloween this year. I think its a great idea ... however, I don't think I'll be able to perfect the 5 point-palm heart exploding technique by the end of the month. The good news ... I can still balance my weight on a sword in mid-air ... dat's a guut-wan!

Where In The World Is Baylis

For those that don't know, Chris (aka e420nigma) moved out to CO with Brown and I back in 01'. Since then, he met the love of his life at Vinyl (Denver) during the 01-02 New Year's party. The following month he left CO for a month to visit her in NY and shortly after decided to relocate back to NY. I suppose I would have done the same. Since then he vanished from our lives. No calls no emails ... dammm you ... where are you Baylis??

Sleep Till Noon

After hours and hours of studying over the past two weeks, once again I can sleep till noon. There's no doubt out it ... mid-terms are a b!tch. Especially when you have 5 in one week. Fall break begins as of now ... CU vs. Texas on Sat. ... Jets vs Canada on Sunday ... no homework till Monday ... hallelujah, hallelujah!

Turning 28 makes you realize how much closer you are to 30. Landing gear down ... ready for landing. Nothing against 30 yo folks but you gotta admit, it ain't nothing like 22 or 23.

Dinner was wonderful ... knowing that I was going to order the Pepper Crusted Strip since last week, nothing but smiles when it landed in front of me. Unfortunately I couldn't finish it since my stomach was filled with apps, salad and their warm, moist corn-bread. Nothing wrong with being fat, right? Rub my belly!!!
