Coming Together

Over the past few months, I've been on a upward trend. I graduated from CU, have fallen in love and obtained the perfect job!!! I couldn't be happier ... at least for the moment. On top of all that, today is my last full day at PopCopy. I'm finally moving on!

Coming into work today, I had a smile on my face from ear to ear. I didn't care how mindless and boring my day was going to be. All I could think about was how happy I am and how much better it will get from here ...

Just a few minutes ago, a middle aged women came to the counter and asked for help with her copies. She wanted a copy of a head shot of Russell Wong. Strange, I thought to myself ... who in the world makes copies of an actor's headshot! If you recall, Wong was in Romeo Must Die and The Joy Luck Club. Anyway, this customer was Wong's sister.

You are WONG!

She said that she was making copies of his headshots for his girlfriend .... hmmmm! Then she began to tell me about a film that she was putting together, which she plans to shoot by end of year in New Zealand. I asked her how her brother got into the acting business and how his career got started. She gave me the abridged version of his "got famous" story then she says to me, "You've got a great look! Would you consider acting?" Uh Oh!!! Was this it? Was Entourage about to become a reality!!! She continued to tell me about her script and various details of her production. We exchanged information and she followed with an invite to New Zealand to meet cast and crew. The best part ... David Lynch is slated to direct to movie!!! HA ... me in a David Lynch movie! Rollin' down the street, smokin', smokin', GIN AND JUICE!!!
