If you are at all interested about the events that took place last weekend, I encourage you to check out Brown's latest entry, "Love, Marriage, In-N-Out, and Dave Mirra." A great summary that highlights the sweeter moments of our extended weekend in SoCal.
As Brown mentioned, the number of cousins at the "reunion" was extreme ... Dave Mirra extreme. At one point I thought to myself, "Are all Filipinos related?" First cousins, second cousins, fifth cousin, everone was related one way or another. I wondered, "Could Dave Mirra be related in some strange connection?" other than Jeremy of course.
Personally, I loved San Diego. It was everything that I was told it would be. Sunny, beautiful and expensive. A Boulder friend of ours moved to San Diego two months ago. Her and bf landed a 1 bdrm, 1 bath 750 sf apt for $1300 half an hour outside the city. I guess that's the price for living near a small slice of beach paradise. Since I returned, I've been contemplating relocating there. The Rockies are great; no doubt about it. But I truly miss the ocean and beaches. I won't be making a decision anytime soon but after my visit to Scottsdale next month, I'll have a better idea of where I'll be headed next. Graduataion is coming up in May. Debating on throwing a bash ... looking back at last weekend's activities, it would be great to see everyone again in 07! I've been informed that my employer would love to see me relocate to Phoenix to take on a full time position (not that I'm working part time now) with them. Possibilities of staying in Boulder have developed at 29th. My head is all over the place thinking about the next year. Not a good time to be indecisive.
Lastly, a ginormous CONGRATS to Elaine and Jeremy. On a perfect day during a perfect weekend, a perfect couple had a perfect wedding. Salute!!!
